My 2017 TRD Sport / 3.5 Idles at about 1100 rpms in park after it is started. Even after a few minutes its still at 1100 rpms. Is this normal? It almost clanks when I put it in gear. Anyone else have a high idle.

Yeah that’s about where mine sits until it warms up. It’s normal. It’s the hot/cold start programmed into the ECU.
There was a TSB for a hard shift from drive to reverse and reverse to drive you’d notice that, it was bad, yours should have already had that fixed.

1100 rpm is normal when you first start truck but should drop down to 600 or 700. It might take a little time . If after driving a little and when stopped at red light it should be around 5 or 600 rpm ..proving it is a automatic tranny. Hmmm can I say that word? Anyways I learned all this when I had issue with codes popping up. I replaced purge valve and rpm dropped and Gass mileage increase and codes gone.
