Entune radio, need help.

So I've done some research and all I can find is info about the nav unit. I want my wife to be able to use the phone book and other features that get greyed out once the vehicle is "in motion" is there a simple wire I have to just snip? Or is it a coding deal? It's probably the most annoying thing about the truck

It's for safety lol.
I just use my phone itself.
Still calls through the radio.

I honestly think looking down at my phone which has a screen a lot smaller the the one in the Tacoma would be more dangerous that touching one button and finding a contact

You can also use voice commands.
On phone and Entunes radio.

I know it's got safety. Vw did the same thing but I could use a scan tool to disable it. From what I've read up atleast when It comes to the nav unit it's pin 17 on the 28 pin connector.

Also you can add 4 preset favs to one touch call.

It's the small purple and white wire in pin 17 on the 28 pin connector. Just remove it and it won't disable any features

By removing that pin does your GPS still track your movement?
I have added my four most used to the space available in the home screen, for others that I call less frequently while moving they are in the APPS under phone the favorites, I can get to them while traveling.

No wires to remove or tamper with.
