The muffler is not sold separately from TRD.

Best to whos ears? Mine sounds best to me, but thats subjective.

Go to muffler shop, tell then what ur looking for in sound. Ask em to clamp on 3 or so mufflers they think will happy u make, but NOT TELL U THE BRAND.
Start the truck with each muffler clamped in place, throw a rev as long as you already discussed that process.
Tell em which muffler u like based on 1, 2, 3 or 4.... then have them weld it in place and tell u the brand/model

Bosal or borla used to make the trd muffler.

I have a borla on my v6. I love it...not too loud but sounds good, added benefit it's all stainless...an important consideration here in MA.

I run a straight piped 3.4 with an intake it sounds sort of richer but its not to bad i just wanted to squeeze some more power out of it and it works but if u care about cabin noise then don’t do it but i like regardless

Probably adds at leased 5 to 10 hp you cant feel it but its there

You actually lose low end power when you straight pipe. Peak is maybe 5hp over stock but at high RPM.
