The manual is confusing and these screws are almost breaking off. Any information ?View attachment 11681
I feel that instruction #2 describes the opposite direction adjustment screws.Seems pretty straight forward to me
Horizontal means Left to right
Vertical means up and down
Turn the upper right screw clockwise(to the right) to make the light shine more to the left and counter clockwise(to the left) shines more to the right
Turn lower left screw clockwise(to the right) to make the light shine higher or up towards the sky turn it counter clockwise(to the left) to make it shine towards the ground.
If you are standing in front of the truck reaching in amd over the light housing and turning the screw to your left that's clockwise and right is counter clockwise to the light housing.
If you are standing and looking at it as seen in the manual picture turning the screw to your right is clockwise. Left is counter clockwise.
I see what you're seeing now.I feel that instruction #2 describes the opposite direction adjustment screws.
Three things. The front bumper was tagged by a Caddy coasting backwards into me, the driver's side bumper was slighted on an icy snow pile and I installed high-brightness bulbs. Also, I just wet-sanded, cleaned and UV spray-painted the lenses.Maybe spray a little panther piss on them.
Why are you adjusting them? Did you replace the lights? Get a lift? Just want to?
Answered the "why" in next reply. My real problem is... the small plastic nut-shaped devices are breaking and I can't get the lights to move either way. I could break off the plastics and vice-grip the metal but if they're frozen in the lamps... I might as well piss on them..lolI see what you're seeing now.
Could be that or they labeled the diagram wrong.
Either way once you start adjusting them you'll know pretty quickly what it's doing.
Why are you adjusting them?
Not yet. I'd like to leave well-enough alone. So that affected her shine angels enough to effect you or those in front of you. Did you figure it out and get the shine right?
I'm getting ready to do that.Did you try a little WD-40 aka panther piss?
If it's not off so much it's sending signals to space and it lights the road in front of you. I'd leave it. If it bothers you try WD-40 let it sit for a few minutes work the screws left to right slightly if it doesn't move squirt a little more let it sit and try again until you get some movement. Otherwise live with it if it's not that off and functions. Not yet. I'd like to leave well-enough alone.
