Headlight Restoration Kits

Has anyone ever tried wd 40,,,,heard that works

Petroleum and plastic..... Doesn't sound like a good idea.

That kit from sylvania I posted is pretty good. Headlights still look like new..

Has anyone had any luck with the headlight restoration kits available??

For "fun", I purchased a $10 clearance Turtle Wax brand kit to use on my wife's car. It seemed to clear up the haze just a bit, but after a few rains and car washes, it reverted back to the original haze.

Needs to be done again, but wanted some info from folks that have had good luck on similar products.

Believe it or not I used the Wipe New wipes with pretty good success. I did one headlight using the sanding pad that comes with it and one that I didn’t sand. They both came out the same. If you have a few cars with the haze you can do several. They’ve looked pretty good for two months so far. I like this method because I’m cheap and lazy.
