Oem blacked out by yourself and resealed with extra butyl, and ge silicone ii used on the outside.

2nd best.... a set from 2009 or 2010 SPORT.... they are not quite blacked out, but smoked. Still oem quality optics, they dont leak, they dont oxidize as fast.

3rd... try to find some blacked out lights labeled "CAPA".
 
Then again, the best u can get if u can tolerate a sharp cutoff is building a set of fxr projector retrofits in an oem housing blacked out by yourself or a person who has a history of doing this and positive reviews.

Your NOT gunna find cheap new lights that are on par with oem in regards to optics and sealing.... theres a reason they are cheaper, whether its the molds, lack of sealant, crap materials, or crappy qc.

Thats just life.... been there, tried that, seen it dozens if not hundreds of times across 3 different tacoma and lighting forums.
 
These are off of a 2009 or 2010 trd sport..... darker at some angles than others. I paid $100 shipped.

Be prepared for a sharp cutoff with quality projectors tho.... these are fxr cutoff/step on a tacoma
