I have a weird rattle when I'm in 4WD and accelerated what could it be?? 4WD engages but the Noise isn't right. I thought it was the skid plate. It was loose fixed that. Still noise is there

TCS and Auto LSD maybe? I was surprised how noisy and rough that can be when it engages.

I was in a few inches of snow tonight, backing out of a friends driveway...4 hi , spun. 4 lo still spun. Was going to lock rear diff thought I'd try MTS put it in "sand", backed out of the driveway with minimal effort but you could hear the abs kicking in when it was trying to keep wheels from spinning. Drove home in 4 HI. No unusual noises... don't know what you could be hearing. I hear extra gear whine sometimes when in 4wd

I’d get under if you can and spin the front shaft by hand to see if it makes the same noise. You have to be in 2wd for the front shaft to be free.

Like Nancy said, if you can recreate the noise than you’ve found your problem. If it’s only making the noise in 4wd with movement then you can narrow it down pretty good.
I’d hate to think that a gen three would already have drivetrain issues but stranger things have happened.
You said the skid plate was loose, have you hit something hard or busted up your front end a little somehow?
