Holiday sale on OEM parts, 41% off MSRP!

If you have that noise in 2, or 4wd it's likely not that bearing causing it. Something else is going on. You gotta get the truck up on a lift, and run it to find out where your noise is coming from. I've seen leaks in the exhaust system people mistake for a mechanical noise.

The CV axle on driver was all wobbly as heck when lifted off ground
Wotn tarnation going on
Is it the issue??
Also starting to notice a clunky jerk when rolling into a stop
And perhaps slowing down into a left turn there is some vibin

Is this at all related ??

Maybe your needle bearing in the differential for the axle to ride in isn't too healthy if a lot of play? Some is normal. If the issue of vibration goes away in 4wd, you found the problem, and need to replace that bearing, or upgrade it to an eggs bushing.
Check the lower ball joint to, it may have gone south.

No vibin noise went away in 4wd at highway speed!

Honestly I think it is the friggin AT transmission

Because of all the issues I sense with no downshifting from D to 3

But I no zip about the dumb AT operation
FML

You just answered your problem...that needle bearing needs to be replaced.....pretty common issue on older trucks, or lifted ones. It requires a special puller to remove the old one.

The noise did not go away in 4wd
I thought if needle bearing then noise goes away in 4wd?

Are you all there? In your previous post above you claimed the noise did go away in 4wd. Either you can't comprehend english, or your smoking that weed again

I failed that english class on numerous occasions back in grammar school
... am not the bad guy o_O o_O

I never claim you were a bad guy, but we gotta work on that english issue. Now, your going to stay after school, and write your spelling words 100 times each, and no thinking about watching cartoons tonight.

Still pouring money you'll never recoup into those old trucks are you?
Got my new sony tv the other day....holy crap you need to be an IT genius to set it up. Still learning all the various functions this remote has. Took me over an hr to figure what I did when I pushed the wrong button. I ask why...can't anyone build an old fogey tv.

You're probably too fussy. Their old tucks, and not worth a hell of a lot. Vehicles are just a method of transportation, nothing more. With todays labor rates, it no longer pays to keep pouring money into an older vehicle unless your able to do all the work needed. I'd rather see my paychecks go into investments rather than something that keeps digging into my pockets that I'll never see a return on.
