I would definitely wear them out first too..
I will wear them a little more but they gotta go before winter. They do okay in mud.

Welcome to the forum. If it’s just dirt a good auto wash detail soap and a soft brush or cloth should get it off. If it’s road scum like oil, grease and tar you may need to use something like goo gone, wd 40 or auto parts stores carry a few brands of tar remover for vehicles. I’ve heard peanut butter works. Use a soft cloth to get it off than wash normally and wax it.I have a 2018 white Tacoma - anyone have trouble cleaning the lower 6” of doors? The protective thicker layer traps dirt and it doesn’t come off with brush....

Yikes. It’s probably not just dirt then. I’d try one of the scum remover methods in a spot and see what happens. It is just dirt (still winter here), I’ve used a brush, but maybe just need harder bristles... that picture was after a wash with a brush...
Keep your taco clean and you’ll be popular @Bogunn
Young grasshopper, wax on, was off... Who am I kidding, I pay someone to wash it... View attachment 17246
At least you’re honest. Lol
Yep!Move to SoCal the pay is pretty good.Competition to get in is crazy.Oh crap off topic.I just hand wash at home with Meguires stuff and spay wax with Lucas stuff. That’s cool. If you are in an urban area that has the Firefighter/EMS jobs it’s a good living. Usually with long stretches off. There’s only half a dozen full time fire departments in my whole state though, the rest are volunteer.
