Hvac outside vents blowing air while on floor mode? This normal?

My middle vents shut completely off. Fans on full blast. It comes out of the drivers vent pretty well noticeable and also on the outermost passenger but a little less.

Are these supposed to turn completely off, or just the way it is? It’s weird the middle turn completely shut off as you would think.

The side ones aren’t just passive; it’s blowing a bit. I have to either turn the driver one way, as it’s at my knuckle or off.

This is exactly my issue. The middle vents seem off by that diagram, so should the outside ones, and they are not at all.

So others experience on floor and max blower with those outside vents would be great.
I still have plenty of warranty time, but it would be tough on something to not complain about once it’s out.

Thanks for sending that diagram. I had no clue as to what was going on when various modes were in play.

Your welcome. Does your outside vents still blow when on foot? My passenger one outside blows about what would be normal for that diagram I guess, however the driver one just seems not right.

Is it an odd thing to complain about, but basically if it’s not right I am going to say something.
