Yeppers. Remember the fake wood look on the sides of station wagons ?GLA!
A pinto station wagon?
Holy sh*t TexasBigBlue! I remember when I was probably about 5 or 6 my aunt, which is my dad's baby sister, got her first car which was a Ford Pinto! I don't know the year model but I remember it was a light blue! Her's was actually the sport model, it had the sunroof and the rally wheels! I think she got it in '81 or '82, not sure but I know it was somewhere in there! My dad is the oldest of 6 kids there were 4 boys and 2 girls and they were all spread out over a 20 year period, this aunt is the baby of the family! My dad being the oldest was the one who went and negotiated the price of the Pinto for her, I remember going with them when she got it!Yep. That's me. 1985. My very first Ford, a 1976 Pinto hatchback. I paid $300 bucks for this POS and before I got the license plates in the mail, I wrecked it. 4-speed manuel. Man it was quick. Randy's Auto said I had to have it and the rest is history. Taking a girlfriend home on a gravel road at two in the morning; dumb.
I remember the pictures you posted. Our Ford trucks were very similar.I remember you said you had a '65 or '66 Ford F100 TexasBigBlue, I think you posted pics of it on here! My first vehicle was a '66 Ford F100 shortbed Custom Cab that was my grandpa's, I wish I could find the pics of to post on here! I do have pics of my '93 Ford F150 shortbed XLT on my phone here!
Yeah I wish I knew where my pics of the old '66 F100 were, I'd post them on here! It was about the same color(s) as the one you posted of yours! It was the 2-tone tan and Wimbledon white! I rattle canned the bed in primer gray because the tan color paint was peeling and the Wimbledon white had a lot of surface rust!I remember the pictures you posted. Our Ford trucks were very similar.
One of my old boss's when I worked part time after school had a red, and white 66 F100. It handled so bad it was scary to drive. One of the guys that worked there said the twin Ibeam was bent. I just took their word for it. At any rate it was like sailing a boat on the high seas.Yeah I wish I knew where my pics of the old '66 F100 were, I'd post them on here!
