Just bought my first truck

Pls understand its a damage multiplier and will take out everything behind it in even a low speed accident. Ive seen it myself, its not a myth.

Not trying to deter you... its your truck, your money... your insurance. Just pls dont have faith that it will offer much if any protection.

Its better labeled a "brush bar" honestly, as it may be good for keeping pinstripes off your hood i guess.

I'm actually a damage appraiser for an auto insurance company. I've written trucks with these and do agree they offer little if any protection. I am solely doing it for the look factor.

just get rid of those bicycle tires and get bigger ones and you're on your way! congratulations on your Toyota!

That'll come after the summer. I'll need tires for the winter and will bump up the size with new rims.
