I'm getting ready to put the rough country 3" lift /level kit on 2012 taco want to put 17x9 wheels with 265-70-17 nitto ridge grapplers will I have any issue with rubbing with this set up

5100s and not a crappy spacer lift that can damage suspension or make your ride quality bad depending on the type of spacer lift.

You can bend shocks even on the street if you bottom out hard enough with a coilover spacer.

With a 3" lift you will be fine on the 265/70/17 for height. The width will depend on the offset of the wheels. Stock toyota wheels are 7" wide so you are adding 2" of width with the 17x9" wheel. You'll need a 0 to -6 offset to have no rubbing. This is going to widen the trucks stance by about 1.5"
Other problem I can see with that set up is that the 265/70/17 is only 10.4" wide and your bead is going to be weak on a 9" wide wheel. You would be better off getting 285/70/17 on the 17x9 with at least a O to -6offset.
