Locking Rear Differential, etc

This is a shot in the dark and I may not do it, but....................

What would it take to make a 2017 Tacoma Sport 4x4 into a Off Road model as far as a locking differential goes?

ARB or Harrop (if they make one). ECGS can hook it up with a fully built diff ready to go in. If you want all Toyota stuff, you'll need the entire axle.

I’ve thought about this too. Aside from the axle, what else would be needed for a Toyota fit up?

Shocks, wheels, tires, crawl control, and stickers on both bedsides that say TRD OFF ROAD lol. Crawl control is neat and all but if I was in your shoes, I’d just go with front and rear air lockers, and upgrade the shocks/springs and ditch the street tires for some AT’s.

The lockers in the differentials are engaged by air such as an air compressor installed somewhere on the truck.....sometimes folks install one in the bed.....majority seem to install under the hood.

For those who dont know. They are expensive, but well worth the cash if you off road a lot.
