Lost friends

Lost 2 friends this past week and that really
sucks ! One was a former Marine , @ 58 . And the other an amazing car builder and fabricator.@ 50 .He just got new knees 3 weeks ago . It's just not far sometimes . Both great guys ,And life goes on . Y'all stay healthy .thanx for listening .

Sorry for your loss. I lost a good friend to a car accident when I was 18. You just never know when your number will be called.

It does suck my boy who in the Marines I've know since 1st grade .Thatsa lot of years

I’ve never lost a parent or child but I’ve lost three very dear and close buddies. It was very hard on me. Always think of the good times. One of them was like a brother. Him and I were tight. Died riding a ATV. He had 9 lives just used them up to quick. He was 24 years of age with a four year old boy. What’s hard is his son looks just like him. I think of him almost every day. You will get through it but it sure does suck

I was told the preferred term is "former Marine". Ex-Marine apparently refers to someone who was dishonorably discharged or did something else to lose the title.

Im sorry to hear that, your one buddy will always be a marine tho.
As for your other buddy, thats horseshit about his knees.... How long was the guy stuck waiting for them?

Thank you sir .About a year .I supposed to get 2 knees next winter be out of work 2 months and im self employed scares the crap outta me . His wake is Monday nite .
