MLB thread

Hey, look at the red sox....bats no work, and whats Devers issue? Looks like he's an unhappy chappy being a dh now. Gotta get big poppy to sit down with him and have a talk.

Btw, have you seen the yankees new team bats? They're high tech engineered, but still approved legal. There's no coincidence they hit 9 hrs the other day in one game. Was reported those bats cost $500 apiece.

Never happen. They have a much improved infield, and a quality outfield, if they can remain healthy. If they put up their usual offensive numbers, they should win over 90 games.

Those orioles look pretty good. Of course the yankee doodles are always up there, but they already got a bunch of injuries. The yankees have an advantage over other less small market teams. They have the funds to go out, and buy a new team, better than the old one if needed.
Imo, major league baseball should have a new rule that teams should start, and end with the same players, only replacing injured players from their farm teams. None of this being able to buy, or trade for super star players during the season to get better.

It's these new bats the yankees are using. This is going to require major league opposing pitchers to pitch differently to these guys. Wouldn't surprise me companies making these bats will be making them for other teams also. Friggin bats look more like oversize duckpins.

Red Sox suck to...lost 3 in a row. Bats still no work. It's on to the orioles next. Sox better get their chit together, and find out why their bats don't work. Heck you got devers their dh that made major league history yesterday striking out 10 times in nearly as many at bats. In fact you got their first base guy doing the same to.

96 more 2 go

Put out the weed...last I knew there's a 162 games in a season. Btw, red sox still suck, losing 8-5 today, but at least their bats are getting a tiny bit better, and devers only struck out 3 times.

Ain't going to happen. They're way better than that. My guess if you don't see a major improvement in the next 5 games, players that are tanking will be riding the pines. Red Sox have very good AAA players on their farm team they can bring up to fill any gaps.
