Motorcycle transport in the bed

Hello everyone. I want to haul my Triumph Tiger in the bed of my truck. Obviously won’t fit in the short bed. Any creative options you have seen to modify the bed with the tailgate down to keep it sturdy and safe? Pics are welcome. ThanksIMG_4911.jpgIMG_5472.jpg
 
I'm sure the tail gate is sturdy enough to handle the weight of the rear wheel of your bike. Remember, you're only putting approximately 1/2 the weight on the tailgate. That's less then a couple of your bro's sitting there. I've done it with bikes on other trucks and never gave it a thought.

The third gen tailgate is suppose to handle a little more weight than previous gens.

Although that is a full-sized truck in the pics...unsure if maybe a Tacoma would be narrower than the bike length so it would stick out on the ends, which would be bad...if so I'd go with the bed+tailgate option mentioned above.
 
Thx geekyadam. Those hitch carriers always have made me skeptical. I have a 400lb Dual sport and with all my gear on it, 430+.
 
I think the back door would support the weight just fine. I've seen this one a lot when I rented scooters on https://riderly.com/blog/your-guide-to-renting-a-motorbike-in-marrakech/. I was there on vacation, you know I wanted a change of scenery, to see the beautiful places, and the people themselves. But for me, there was a problem with what kind of transport to choose. I decided on a scooter because it is easy and does not require much money for maintenance. It doesn't clog up the environment too much. And I often saw them brought to the place where I rented them, and they were brought in the backs of trucks.

The photo of the yellow CBR...use that kind of motorcycle stand to put in the bed of your truck. You would have to make some sort of "T" to stabilize it but it should work just fine. Now how to get it in and out of the bed...one thing at a time.
 
I often travel by car and would like to take a motorcycle with me. This body style would be perfect for my bike. The fact is that I am a superstitious person and I believe in various meanings and signs, for example, that one cannot go on a long journey on a motorcycle. In general, I read a lot of interesting things about meanings and symbols at https://www.sunsigns.org/basic-shapes-symbolism-meanings/. Therefore, such a body would really be very useful to me.
