I bought a ‘17 DCLB and took it on a long bird hunting trip to New England. I used it in every condition and used every feature. I put about 1,000 miles on it, round trip. Here is my takeaway:
It’s underpowered
The brakes are grabby
The nav sucks
And so does the radio
And so does the dashboard thermometer
The seat covers were a good idea and so was the rear seat hammock for the dog.
The weather tech roll up bed cover was just ok.
The bed step was a good idea (Thinking about a bedslide)
The 2.5 lift was key and so were the OEM aluminum side steps (expensive).
Crawl control is AWESOME!!
My buddies agreed it was awesome and they all wanted one.
It has more character and capability than any truck I’ve ever owned.
I’d buy it again.
