new energy tech for cars?

I don't know about that solution... but I think there is going to be some major improvements on the gas engine or alternative in the next 10 - 20 years. There is just no way with this much innovation going on in the world that the gas engine that was developed 100 + years ago is still the best solution.
 
No such thing as clean coal, only ways to make it less dirty. Hydrogen if anything looks more promising as toyota already has one.
