Evening, all!
A 'yota dealership by me had a 2007 Maroon Taco show up as a trade-in one day and has only 42,000 miles.
By the time I got down there to take a look, someone else had absconded with it for a day-long test drive.
It's a kid looking to buy it through financing.. but he's only got 800 as a down. Used car manager doesn't think the family's going to be able to get the 3200 additional they want to see to even try and finance a 13 year old truck.
Me, I show up with checkbook in hand.. and the amount already filled in. If 10am comes by, and they can't get the cabbage together, then I come in behind them and drive off with a Taco!
All that aside, and I KNOW this is probably a very silly question.. I'm assuming that 10k for a 2007 Taco with only 42,000 miles is an absurdly good deal, yes?
She's the 4 cylinder 2.7 liter with an automatic. No cruise control, nor power windows or doors. I'm fine with that, honestly. More to tinker with later, is how I see it. Oh, also is the standard cab. The 4-door types aren't my thing, you know?
So! What'cha think? Good deal?
I'll be searching for recommended tires and tool-boxes (don't want to ask without searching the forums first), but if you've any off-the-cuff favorites, I'd love to hear them.
Cheers, all!
