the government needs to stop messing with the vehicles... they killed the regular cab, whats next?
Pretty sure the government didn't kill the regular cab. Toyota discontinued it.the government needs to stop messing with the vehicles... they killed the regular cab, whats next?
actually Toyota had to discontinue it due to GOVERNMENT regulation for fleet mileage. that's why the FJ is gone too. look it up.Pretty sure the government didn't kill the regular cab. Toyota discontinued it.
Whonwants a reg cab anywaysSo I "looked it up" and that's not the entire reason for the loss of the reg cab. Sure the government has mpg regulations, and the current reg cab wouldn't fit in those regulations, but these aren't in effect until 2017. Besides, it's still toyota's choice to drop reg cab not the government. The demise of the reg cab is partly due to its unpopularity, being over shadowed by sales of the ext and double cabs. Seems to me Toyota dropped their least profitable line to save money in the long run and avoid huge fines.

True, i have the same dilemma as you.......... FamilyI had a 97 Reg can 4x4. Loved it. Hated to get rid of it. But bigger family calls for a bigger truck. That 2.7 was bulletproof.
