Oil System Cleaner

does your oil look like milkshake on the checkstick
any foamy underneath the oil fill cap?
i've never used any of the cleaner stuffs

I never believe in those products, unless its an old junkyard engine thats been sitting. You change your oil at the recommended service intervals for the type driving done with a good synthetic, and you shouldn't have any issues.

Leave the canned miracle on the store shelf. Those products are good wallet emptier but are not needed nor necessary.

The motor oil has cleaning agents in it. There is no need to "clean the oil system".

I don't know of any non-detergent oils on the market. Perhaps a 2-cycle oil, but I have doubts.

Just follow the recommended viscosity, API specification and the change interval, then all will be well. Brand is basically a personal preference.
Always, always, always change the oil filter with every oil change.

Not a problem. Just shorten the change interval.

Say, instead of 5000 miles, do a couple of 1000 mile changes. or shorter depending on the "foreign substance"

Although, I'd try to figure out how the foreign substance got in the ccase and solve that as a first step.

Foulplay is my guess as to how a foreign substance could get in there
