Paint update

That is something i never noticed... the 2012-15 facelift incorperated the bumper into the flare eh?
Prior it was a small 2nd piece but removable still. Front flares were 2 pieces

Nah. In the middle on the lower grille I rolled that because the black was faded but I think if I did the whole bumper it would look overdone. Plus the rear bumper is chrome and I don't want to paint over chrome to match the front
 
Brackets arrived. Grille guard time..... Also I painted the chrome Toyota emblem black. Keeping the chrome trim on the grille though..... And yes I did pop the emblem out to paint it. I removed the entire grille for better access to the core support 20180413_130913.jpg
 
Well all done for the week. Back to work Monday and busy this weekend. First pic is the day I bought it and the following are as of 10 minutes ago followed by a photo of me congratulating myself and then my cats reaction to the awesomeness. Plan to do a few more minor things like add a hood deflector and I'm thinking of getting stickers for the chrome Tacoma door badges to make them black. Keep an eye on the bumper pads for the hood deflector, they have been known to deteriorate over time and the hood deflector rub on the bare paint of the hood.
