Roof top tents, how often do you take them down?

For you guys with roof top tents, how often do you guys take them down off the roof/rack and store them away? Or do you usually leave them on all the time?

Do you park your truck in the garage or driveway? Part of my concern is weather conditions wearing out the gear.

i parked in garage, but I watched a YouTube review that people parked outside in Texas for 2 years and only the cover ripped. Inside condition is intact.
