RPM unstable, truck lurches. 2019 Tacoma TRD Sport Auto

When backing up or foward in a creep, the truck lurches with steady brake pressure The RPM will drop from aprox 1000 rpm to 700 and cycle up and down.Have had the truck back to the dealer and have been told "Its Normal"having a hard time beliving this. It makes hooking up my trailer a real pain and it "Bumped" back in a parking lot and scared both me and a woman walking in back of the truck.She was not happy.Any ideas??
 
Mine does the same thing, ive just not noticed it to the extreme that youre stating. Ive figured out that any, any extra load put on engine will cause idle to increase. A/C kicks on, idle increases, kicks off, idle decreases. Turn the steering wheel, idle increases. Turn off all engine driven accessories and don't touch anything and idle will stay the same.
 
Took my 2019 back to the dealer the day after i bought it thinking something was wrong also. Think its the nature of the beast mated up to the transmission trying to squeeze good emissions out.
 
The ‘16 I had did that exact thing big time. My brother thought I was screwing around one day I was backing into his driveway. Took it back had the transmission TSB done and it still did it. Lots of issues with that one. Traded it for a ‘17 and had the same feeling in that one too. They both did the same thing at 45 just trying to keep the same speed. It felt like it had a stutter then. I ended up getting rid of that one too. I’m driving a ‘10 now.

My 2019 TRD Sport 3.5L does that also. I call it a lean miss meaning that the engine is running so lean that when a certain cylinder fires there is not enough combustible gas to burn. The problem goes away as soon as it warms up a bit and it occurs only at idle. I've been too involved with my power brake problem. Then there's the clatter of the high pressure fuel pump next.
