Satillite Radio Signal

Has anyone had problems with the XM satillite radio? Mine will be working fine and then it says no signal. It will stay off for long periods.I have called Sirius XM and they say it's my radio. Just curious if anyone has had this problem. My truck is a 2011 TRD Sport with a JBL system.

Mine does it on certain roads and certain areas. I know exactly where it will happen when Im driving on those roads. It's a satillite so signals can be lost if you are out of range or it gets blocked.
 
That is normal because of obstruction in the sky. But mine just will not get a signal no matter if obstructed or not.
 
I had problems with that and the GPS. No signal at all. I bought the truck new last Friday. New antennas were put in today and it works great.
 
My truck is 6 years old, so it is out of warranty. I took a soft piece of rubber that is fairly heavy and smacked the antenna on the roof and it is working for now. Might have to replace the antenna.
