Did you liked the EBC rotors/pads?I get a shake every now and then. I think it's deposits from the pad because it will go away. On top of that I get an awesome grinding when coming to a stop. I've had the worst luck with front brakes on this truck.
EBC rotors and pads
Brembo blanks and EBC pads
DBA rotors and EBC pads
Currently on Brembo blanks and Hawk ceramic pads

Ceramics are known to make a rubbing or grinding noise. I never did like them. Ceramic brakes where never designed for performance or racing.
Mine was doing the same thing I replaced the rotors and it stopped View attachment 15389View attachment 15390

Seems like EBC rotors and pads wear down quickly. The EBC pads ate my expensive DBA rotors. I don't think I would buy their products again.
I was trying a different compound since I seem to be going through brakes like crazy. These ceramic pads are still basically now but they make an audible grind.
Really ?? I've had no issues at all with ceramics, no unusual grinding or short life ...
Plug in your iPod touch 128gb and turn the volume upIdk what it is. I do drive aggressively but I’m not crazy on the brakes all the time. Calipers are newer so they shouldn’t be sticking.

Sounds like it’s almost time for a new ford.If it doesn't freeze or error out my headunit again.

And killing absBest investment for brakes also are changing to a good set of steel braided brake lines and pitching the junky oem rubber hoses.
Zerks are over looked a lot in maintaining and they are easy to grease. So my truck spent the day at Toyota yesterday to figure out why my truck shakes at high speeds. They came back and told me it was a combination between my rotors and my struts. I got new rotors and am working on getting some new 5100s ordered to see if that is really my problem. They also said I should replace my rear u joints which I feel have never gave me any real problems so I’m going to grease all of them up and see what that does for me. I’ll give a update when I finish it up
