Simplest box mount dumb question

There must be an easier way. Isn't there an easier way to securely attach a bed box than bolting it in through the bottom?

For truck boxes you can use clamps or get a box that’s compatible with your rail system.

You can use T nuts and attach it to the rails that way.

I bought my taco 2nd hand and the bed liner has a change in shade markings of a box and no holes in the bed, so i would assume the box was attached to the bed rails with T nuts
