SNOW

still not a lick of measurable snow out west central here
just a dusting one day last week...

We just got 3'' of fresh powdery snow last night. Had close to 6'' left after the monsoons came last week. Time to do some snowplowing again.

I wish it snow more than dusting here
I need the grueling of heave hoe exercising along with my new shovel from tractor supply with the long handle to shovel upright
Sucky that I couldnot find and get a wide blade like the old sanding shovel I used for decades that wooden handle broke on it last month..several inches of difference on new blade

Years ago I bought one of those yellow plastic shovels with some sort of composite handle on it from big lots for around 10 bucks....they had hundreds of them stacked up in their store. That thing has been indestructible.

Starting to get a mix of snow, and rain here right now turning to all rain...was raining the other day to with more rain, and snow mix sunday. Just got my fridge, and pantry stocked up with vittles....stores were busy early this morning.

Great news, another monster snowstorm is on its way this weekend....this bomb clycone is predicted to be a blizzard beginning sunday with 2' of new snow, and 60 mph, or more sustained winds. Its been decades since having an old fashion new england winter.

Thats just for today, but it's still raining right now..actual storm is coming sunday, and monday. Just got a a 5 gal jug of heating oil fuel for the tractor..... checked the motor oil, and air pressure of the tires, and greased it all up. All ready for mother natures big show. Latest accumulation amounts could be up to 4'' an hr.

I think this bomb cyclone snowstorm is bombing out again. Recently received the latest snowfall amounts predicted ...now 8-12 inches. Winds are picking up, but still not snowing.

It's not fit for man nor beast out there this morning. First impression looking a window....''the world its coming to an end''
CapeTaco must be really getting hammered over there. Got drifts up to the windows at home here.

We got around 15'', but these drifts were a killer to dig out from with all the heavy wet snow. I just came back after doing the walks around my shop....whatapainintheass.
