Tacoma squeaky leaf springs

My 2008 Toyota Tacoma trd sport is about to drive me insane because the leaf springs won’t stop squeaking! I can spray them with lubricant and the sound will go away for about two weeks and then it’s back and it’s actually pretty embarrassing because it’s so loud so if anyone actually has a more permanent fix please let me know.

I believe they had a recall on rear leaf springs?? I remember my 09 Tacoma was one that just misses this recall or they had the correct springs installed at the factory?? I would check with your local dealer.

My 09 got the recall, the springs still sucked... added the icon progressive 3leaf AAL and all good now [emoji846]

I had a 2010 that had a recall on the springs and bolts if I remember right

Yeah I’m thinking about getting new ones because the stock ones suck

I drilled a hole thru mine about the width of a pencil, and it’s been 3years and solid no squeaking... hope this helps!

I had the squeak, took out the pressure washer and cleanned the leaf spring,squeak gone
