Tailgate Stuck 2018 Tacoma Sport

Hello all,

I'm a new member and I just purchase the 2018 Tacoma Sport. The tailgate to my Tacoma is stuck and will not open, specifically the driver side latch. Please advise.

You must have bought your truck from the same dealer that I did. The dealer prep sounds familiar. Most likely a retaining clip dropped off or broke. Dealers problem for sure. Best of luck.
