It ain't the kind of country club you're probably thinking of... lolPinetop Country Club?
Fancy.
Most Crawdads I’ve ever seen live in the creek. lol
I'm not actually in any of them, it just thinks I am. The national forest is across the street from me. HahaView attachment 21546

Yeah. I'm not much into the bundle up in five layers snow thing either. I'd rather be in shorts and a tank top on a beach![emoji41][emoji106]Lol I'll take that any day, and every day!!!
Close enough for great Airbnb rates year round whenever I'm done and GTFO. [emoji23]Close enough to be fancy. Lol.
Got some good choices there, OR.......got some thinkin' to do now!The 2017 should be gone next week at the earliest. I’m tossing up a few options for a truck. Having a hard time deciding on what to do. Want to stay with Toyota. Here is what I’m looking at.
1. 2018 Tundra crewmax Platinum it’s got a lot of extras on it. $3000 Toyota rebate until Oct 31 plus dealer discount of $8000. Total $45k
2. 2018 Tacoma OR DCLB tech and premium pkg $1000 Toyota rebate until Oct 31. $2000 dealer discount. Total $38k
3. 2004 Tacoma DCSB OR 3.4l auto 178k miles asking $13k knowing the miles and maintenance schedule I’d offer $11k
4. 2019 Tacoma OR DCLB tech/premium pkg MSRP $41700 I don’t know what kind of deal I can get on it. I’d probably have to order it. Inquire with a few dealers and see who gives the best deal.
All of these are super white and 4x4. (Surprise)
They are all great but I only need one truck. Haha

It would be nice to only spend $11-13k on a truck and drive it for a few years. The 3.4L seems easy enough to work on. Save some money with interest rates climbing. If it was me I’d be torn between the ‘18 tundra crewmax and the ‘18 OffRoad Tacoma.
The ‘19 Tacoma OffRoad isn’t offering any new additions as far as I’m aware and you’d be paying more for the same truck.
The ‘04 is pretty high mileage, although they are great trucks, the double cabs in a first gen need an acre to make a three point turn. (But under $15k is enticing too).
Basically it boils down to: do you want the truck you already have with less problems and the premium/tech packages? And do you need the extra room of the Tundra? (I know you had a tundra before).

I miss the extra room of the tundra but I love the maneuverability and the off road capability of the Tacoma. 2018 Tacoma is cheaper for the same in 2019 I like that.
I keep leaning towards that 2018 DCLB OR tech/premium pkg then I look at all the space, comforts and power of the Tundra crewmax Platinum and the low maintenance of it then I think $12k for a 04 would be nice then I go back to the low maintenance then back to the capability of the 2018 Tacoma OR. My heads spinning.Yeah. That’s basically the struggle of the decision.
I came from 5 years of full sizes back to the Tacoma. And while it is comfortable I missed my Tacoma’s all the time and have no intention of ever going back. I don’t haul any huge campers or boats so my Taco is plenty for me.
The extra maneuverability OffRoad and daily driving makes a huge difference.
