I worked harder today than going to work! Haaaa! Was at the Butcher Shop and picked up our beef.....ended up with 678lbs.....burger, t-bones, sirloins, roasts....Mmmmmmmm.....good eatin'! Then I mowed.......changed the oil on the Taco......made a big pan of lasagne for our Pastor who has the covid.....sittin' here watchin' shootin' shows on Outdoor Channel relaxin'!

Yeah it is......it'll feed us and the boy and daughter-in-law for awhile. $3.24/lb.....can't buy roasts, t-bones or sirloins for that price!

I just order a whole beef and a pig about a month ago, I should get them late October.

You betcha...i go in halfsies ( is that a word) with a friend of mine yearly, and I usually hold a Canada day bash to, but didn't this year sadly.

It's a good time.
First year I moved to Kelowna, had a small one...it has grown significantly, and is a big party now.
This year's was small, very small...I miss the large one I used to have. It felt really weird this year when only 64 people came.
