About a week ago, something hit my windshield. I had my head down, looking at the radio I think, so I didn't see what it was. It left something across the glass, that wasn't fully wiping off in rain with the wipers. The wind was blowing. I thought it was a bird at first, but it could have been a pine cone. Who knows... I worked on it yesterday with dish soap, and I still saw the marks across with glass this morning. I think the glass cleaner got it today. Unfortunately, I have some very small glass chips right in front of the steering wheel, at only 2,700 miles. :(

I've noticed the windshield on my Taco chips very easily. Like Tiyota used a low quality glass or something. Never had glass chip like this.
 
I wish I knew what chipped mine. I still saw those marks this morning. It's like some kind of oil or something that collects condensation before the rest of the windshield. I thought for sure I got it with the glass cleaner last night.

I think I'm gonna try some white vinegar today.

You might want to try a Magic Eraser. I use them on my windshields to make them crystal clear. It’s a Chris Fix technique.
