I hear the Walmart tires are of lower quality than what you can get at an actual tire shop.

You mean there could be two types of Wrangler Authorities, Walmart kind and legit kind? Or those tires are only carried by Walmart and are lower quality?

Sorry if that doesn't make sense.

Nah I get it. I believe both counts are true. A good buddy of mine used to work at a tire place so he would fill me in on the tricks of the trade. Of course only personal experience matters. They could be junk tires but they end up working great for you.

Time for sum new tires on the gen2 ... about 65k miles wheeled on em and definitely are Not safe to drive on wett roads
It will be 3rd set including original
Hopefully it will eliminate this awful droning noise on the roll but my hopes not set too high at all

If tires have the 3 peak mountain snowflake symbol...those tires have been rated for deeper snow, as many all terrain tires are. All season....usually are not. Been looking at those kumho ht51 crugen all season tires that have the snowflake symbol.

I don't need an a/t tire with the snowflake symbol on this 3rd gen taco, it goes off-road here with all season tires better than my tundra did with a/t tires.
