When they were offering me all those appearance package protection scams for the truck, you'd think they would mention something for the cover. Guess not.

Bought it used, it's a 2016 access cab TRD. This is my first Toyota, I love it . I'm still shopping for a cover.Mine was $650 also. I ordered mine on 01/30/2016
I've been using what the dealer started me on....wolfsteins cleaner and protectant. There's others that are good like 303Good advice. What do you use on your cover?

Joel, does the cover attach to the track rail ?I'm not sure what it's actually called. The previous owner removed one from the side of the bed liner.Thank you, you're the man
It actually just lays on the bed rails when fully locked together. There's a 12 mm security bolt that ties into the passenger track side rail to keep the cover from totally flying off. The cover itself is one heavy s.o.b. I've had a concrete bag sitting on it at one time.
While its not terribly hard to remove the cover, I have wished at times you could fully fold it up to expose the entire bed, rather than having to remove it completely when the entire bed is needed to
I went with Undercover with the struts. I like that it covers part of the outside of the bed, lock, bed light. Are the covers on Amazon as good as OEM?
