Tools...

I've never owned any texton tools. Most their stuff in made in taiwan, and china, probably no better than craftsmen now. I guess it's fine for the homeowner that doesn't use them everyday.

they are based in Michigan, that is the reason i am into them
plus they are very convenient shipping + small discounts
used to be convenient i would now say
don't have to leave the chair, just order and wait for the UPS delivery person

Yeah, I understood they still make a small portion of their tools here in the u.s, but its small.
SK use to manufacture some decent affordable tools here in the u.s., but even they sold out to some chinese outfit. I still have a lot of sk tools from the 70's that have held up well.
 
thank goodness O'Reilly AP has a torque wrench for rental deposit that will go to 250 ft/lbs
can get it checked out for only 48 hours, though...
the one i have from tekTon only goto 150
 
Might need a duffrent 24" breaker

Breaking that hex drain plug nearly broke the dieHard brand breaker o_O
 
Could get a 3/4" breaker that is 40 inch long :oops:

What would I could I do with that tool
