Traction control 05-09

Shopping for a Tacoma and I'm noticing that there aren't many with a traction control off switch before 09. What is the deal with traction control for say a 2008?

I don't think they have it. I have an '08 manual and no electro nannies.

04 (1st gen) to 08 trucks had optional traction control. It was a bundle with side air bags as well. You don't see many or any at all because it was more money. The ones that did have it may not have the off button.

To shut traction control off on the new tacomas , you hold the the traction control button until the light turns fully off, you have to be stopped to do it
