I wouldn't touch the Ecopoop though but still a nice pickup.

I have a 2.0 liter Ecopoop in a 2018 Ford Edge that the wife drives. I have to say that I’m more than impressed so far. That’s a heck of a little motor and a fine vehicle. Ford has done their homework on the Ecoboost platform.
I’ve had a personal loathing of Ford since they got rid of the 300, 351, 400, C6 tranny, and Bronco. The wife wanted this one though and I like it.

Smaller cars are fine with it. I just wouldn't get the F150 with either Ecopoop option.

The people I know with them love them. I always said the same thing but after owning the Edge I’d be willing to try it. (If I ever bought a Ford truck which isn’t likely).

I was not wowed, but it felt good.

Update. The transmission fix is impressive. I don't use SSP nor the ECT mode. It was worth waiting for.
