4wd will do better. 2wd with a rear locker helps but it’s not a 4wd.

I've got a 2017 off road access cab long bed that says it's a 4×4 with rear lockers. So, is it actually a 4×2 or a 4×4. All the paperwork says it's a 4×4. Now, if it's a 4×2, wouldn't toyota be liable of falsifying or do all the 4×2's list as 4×4's? I have no clue about 4×4 and 4×2 because I've only used mine twice in 2 years.

If it’s 4x4 it’ll have a transfer case.... and a 4wd shift knob....
4x4. Always. Extra traction of front wheels pulling with the engine weight on the front axle is going to pull much better.
