More labor involved your paying a pissed tech for. It's no wonder they do chit jobs on your vehicles. You're probably one that coats replacement wear parts like shocks also. If you gotta do it...do just the fasteners.
I remember back in the day when I had a part time job after school. One of my chores was going to the city dump every saturday morning with the boss's f-100 pickup loaded with all sorts of garbage. Well eventually I was tasked with maintaining that truck. I use to get so pissed off having to clean all the crap, and mud from that garbage dump stuck to the underside of the truck. Even hitting the car wash didn't help much. Some of today's techs are prima-donna's, and won't put up with that crap very long.
