I’d love to go.

I had an 06 that ran like a raped ape (1500, 4wd, auto, 5.3 high output) but suffered from extreme frame rust (never on beach, washed, waxed, inside cement floored garage), repeat brake line rust and repeat wheel bearing failure. Despite all of this, I got better gas mileage with the 5.3 than I do with my 3.5.

I always had gm trucks..albeit diesel before my taco. I really missed having a bigger truck that actually moved when you hit the skinny pedal lol

My need for a full sized truck is zero these days. I would have gladly kept my GMC if it hadn't gone rust crazy. I looked at all the small trucks and thought that Toyota had the best ideas, and I base that on older Toyota trucks. Either way, it's my last truck. Shame on me.

I'm kinda in the same mind set as you Joisey. I had a full size Ram 1500 before my Taco and the power was nice under foot, but I didnt really need anything that big after I moved in town. All I haul now is small stuff. I dont know if this will be my last truck or not, but if I get another on it will be another Tacoma for sure.
