Oops I accidentally double posted the first pic! Lol!View attachment 33140 View attachment 33140Since we have folks posting pictures of their toys on here I thought I'd post a pic of this baby! This car belongs to my cousin's (girl cousin) father-in-law! He said it's actually a former California Highway Patrol car, not sure how he acquired it but he put the markings for the county sheriff's department in the county where he lives here in Texas! He races it at local drag strips! I can't remember the size of the engine but it's 500 something cubic inches! My cousin's husband was a store manager at an Auto Zone for a while which is where this pic was taken at car show he had there a few years ago!

The big bad 500 something cubic inch big block!
It's 25° now according to my phone! It's supposed to get down into the teens tonight and in the morning with windchills in the negatives! Brrrrr.......! Don't know if the mail is gonna be coming or not, they didn't last year when there was snow and ice on the ground for a whole week and the temperature was -2°!39f and drizzling right now. Big heat wave starting yesterday. Some snow has melted. Drove my taco in 4wd down some closed snow covered woods roads yesterday morning taking a shortcut....actually took longer, with the snow getting mushy, but it was fun.
Don't know, never heard of anyone lowering a 4x4. Most people if anything like to lift their 4x4! Maybe someone with more knowledge than I will chime in.Our main reason for our 2021 Limited, 4x4, V6, auto, shortbed is to tow our camper.. we have no intention of off 4 wheeling so I'm thinking of lowering it..
Will I lose any towing capacity if lowered frt. & rear? Truck is rated for 6800lbs. but my camper is only 2k. All total weight carried & towed about 3500lbs. Anyone lower their truck & tow??? Thanks!
I can tell you my 2020 sr5 v6 tows my 2k lb plus boat no problem, but really needs a brake controller to safely do it. I've got a 5x10 utility trailer i use for my snowmobile thats gotta be about 1300 lbs loaded, and thats fine hardly know its there. I don't need to lower my truck. The 2'' drop hitch from my tundra fits perfect. Our main reason for our 2021 Limited, 4x4, V6, auto, shortbed is to tow our camper.. we have no intention of off 4 wheeling so I'm thinking of lowering it..

I do use a Bluetooth brake controller. But I like the look of level. But not raising front.I can tell you my 2020 sr5 v6 tows my 2k lb plus boat no problem, but really needs a brake controller to safely do it.
