I finally got a chance to hand wash the lil beast today.

When I popped the hood to wipe down the engine covers, the intake cover wasn't attached. Do these things pop off in their own through normal (maybe a little abnormal) driving?

Not usually. Maybe who ever checked it last didn’t clip it good.
I’d keep an eye on it maybe check it in a few hundred and a thousand miles see what happens. If you’ve got a manufacture defect you’ll want that fixed.

Oh you can bet your bippy I'll be keeping an eye on it B-Man. Dont want that thing flopping around in there getting chewed up by the fan and belt.

Love going on the beach sandy neck is 6 miles long .its nice campers are out there too in summer it cool to watch a guy drive a 32 ft Winnie down the beach in. 2wd .

Just finished washing all the salt of ol' Blue.....wiped down the interior.....vacuumed it out........washed the floor mats........better not snow tomorrow!

Radar up here is lookin' good for the next 10 days......just cold.........no snow.......looks like I have to get some quarters for the wifee's car to get it washed!
