Awesome idea! Get a cap to put on that outlet.

I added this to my bumper:
To go with this:
Not sure what to tell you. I bought an open box Viair 450 compressor for about 1/2 retail price. It is 100% duty cycle. I mounted it under the hood and then ran a hose out the front bumper with a quick connect. I keep a 30 ft. air hose in the back so that I can reach all four tires. On another forum one of the exposexual experts told me what a horrible location I had picked for the quick connect but a.) I don't go rock crawling; b.) it is almost 2 feet off the ground; c.) it takes about 10 seconds to remove it with a wrench if I see a need. Now hold on a second! This is an awesome idea! Do you have a thread on what you did? Details man!!

It is wired to the battery with a switch in the cab.Too cool man! How do you power it?
Nice man! Wasent sure if something like that ran off 12V or needed an inverter. It is wired to the battery with a switch in the cab.
I've toyed with doing that to mine. Did you do yours for aero, looks or clearance?I took the front spoiler off, again.
I took mine off for looks. I had it off for a while about 6 months ago and never noticed any difference in mpg, but some times it seemed like the truck got a little squirrely up front on really windy days. I want to see if it was just my imagination of if it really was a handling issue.I've toyed with doing that to mine. Did you do yours for aero, looks or clearance?
That should hold you through your next trip to the range.Drove the '17 OR up north and picked up 2K 9mm bullets.
It might, Scott! LOL Workin' on fill-in ammo can #14 of 9mm.That should hold you through your next trip to the range.
