What is the best 2-3" Lift Kit and Biggest Tires I Can Fit on my 18 Tacoma?

Hey, I just bought a 2018 Tacoma TRD Offroad. I need help with finding the best lift kit. I will not be doing much if any off-roading, I want it for the look. I would also like to figure out the biggest tire size I can run with trimming and rubbing. I would like the wheels to come out about an inch from the wheel well any ideas or opinions would help. I think my budget would be 3-3.5k for lift kit and wheels. Thank you

Congrats on the new Tacoma. Welcome to the forum.
I’m guessing you mean without rubbing or trimming. Without doing a CMC and some molding or trimming once you put 285/75/16 or similar you’ll have some rubbing at lock when you hit bumps.

You have an off road so you’ve got the bilstein 4600’s and off-road coils.

Questions:
What is your plan with the truck?
Off-road all the time?
Daily driver going off road a couple times a year? Monthly? Weekly? Daily?
Old man emu makes good kits, like @whippersnapper02 said toytec.


As far as tires and wheels here’s a list of the biggest:
With a 2.5-3” lift you can fit up to:
285/55/20 = 32.3x11.2”
285/60/19 = 32.5x11.2”
285/65/18 = 32.6x11.2”
285/70/17 = 32.7x11.2”
285/75/16 = 32.8x11.2”
Wheels I would go with a 8.5” wide and -6 offset
You might be able to go -12 offset but I know some have had issues with it rubbing more at that offset.

Thank you for replying to this. thats a lot of info. to answer your questions:

My plan for the truck is to just have a more aggressive look.
I will almost never do any serious offloading
its my daily driver - offload maybe 1 a week and its not extreme at all (like driving down a dirt road lol)
I was thinking the toytec boss suspension lift.
I don't know what I need to add when it comes to those options on the website.

Black 17x9 Moto Metal MO990 wheel is currently in-stock (-12mm)

Nitto Ridge Grappler - LT285-70R17

I still need to look for a 3 inch suspension lift kit tho
 
Keep in mind, mixing OME and Bilstein voids both their warranties, unless you buy from a business that specifically states they cover the lost warranty with their own. And they have to assemble parts before shipping to you.

9” wide and -12 offset will increase the amount of rubbing.

You don't need LT tires. This is a 3/4 ton or 1 ton truck tire. It's robs all the power from these little trucks and it will ride like sh#t .
