? Where is the Gen1 Taco traffic at ?

Sure if one keeps throwing in replacement engines, and many, many other new parts in a vehicle its possible, but they still have an old vehicle thats not worth much. It's not practical unless you can perform all those repairs yourself. Those that are unable are fools.

that just sounds dum

these gen1 are worth quite a bit still...more than 10k$ if wellkept and cared for

a gen3 is worth absolut zero to I

Gen1's are only worth a few bucks if pristine with lower miles that have zero rust issues. Lot of that depends where. In new england, and the upper midwest, you'd be lucky to score $5k-8k for one under 200k miles....and thats in good cond. Anyone paying more than that is a fool, and there's no shortage of them....at least on some of these forums.
I had a 93 extended cab 4x4 3.0 v6 toyota pickup that was the curser to the tacoma a couple years later. It's simply amazing how far the 2020 gen3 tacoma had come after having that turd, and I thought my 01 v8 tundra had some balls. Imo, toyota did a great disservice putting a 2.7 160 hp four cylinder in their gen2, and 3 tacomas making them too heavy, and underpowered. You gotta have the v6 in those trucks.
