? Where is the Gen1 Taco traffic at ?

Why do you keep posting all these wheel bearing video's on different forums? Something tells me you have a fetish for wheel bearings.

Imo, the northeast has the atlantic ocean air, plus being more humid. Add all the salt, and deicing chemicals on the roads during winter, and your guaranteed rust. Even aluminum looks terrible after 5 years out in the weather here.

plenty of freezing fog in midWest with the great lakes
but the ocean is worse?
the great lakes are fresh body water not salty misty

My brother who lives a few hundred yards from the ocean's shoreline here has a small tool shed that was built 2 years ago in the rear of his home. They used iron screws for the door hinges....says those screws are so rusted now he can barely remove them so he can replace them with stainless ones.

Even the unprotected steel portions of the front differential on my tacoma are showing a thick surface rust that I never bothered to cosmoline it. Rest of the truck looks amazingly good after 6 years being outside 24/7.

rare bird seen out in the wild going opposite direction on the 75

either 95.5 or 96 SR5

looked green but a distant away

I haven't seen a gen1 tacoma here in months. Even the gen2's are slowly disappearing. I recently saw a couple different color gen4's last time out. They are starting to get more popular once the local dealers dropped their prices hoping to move them.
