I dont quite understand what ur asking for.I'm looking to replace my leafs with some nicer ones but keep my ride height the same 2" rear. What do you guys recommend?
Yes I currently have a 2" in the rear and want to stay around there. Nicer meaning not stock, nicer ride on and off the road. Thanks for your recommendationI dont quite understand what ur asking for.
Do u currently have a 2" aal and are wanting it to sit the same with new suspension, or are u saying ur truck is 2" taller in the rear more than the front?
Eitherhow, dakars give about 2.75 i think.... this should settle some.
Then again, what is "nicer"?
Softer? Or better at carrying the trucks rated capacity?
They are already severely limiting the stock suspension, so another 2" would def not be good but they might last a little while.Wow that is a nice looking spring. Would 2 or so inches lift require trashing the yellow shocks? I know they're ****ty at dampening but do they have the travel?
Yeah, like anything that matters, doing it right pays off. I have a shop here that has a three leaf all pack ready to go for $140. He says it will add 1 1/2 inch. Might try this first, but will be back at Real Truck to order rear shocks soon...They are already severely limiting the stock suspension, so another 2" would def not be good but they might last a little while.
I agree they are ****, the back end just dances around and bucks even bone stock. You dont know what your missing.
