Pretty damn new to all of this but I was wondering if there's anyway to install the 285/75/16 KO2's on a 2017 sr5 without the tires rubbing. What's the minimum lift I would need? Is it even possible?
I have a 3" lift with -6 offset wheels and my 285/75/16 fit great.
2.5-3" for height. The stock wheels won't work so you'll need new wheels with a 0 to -6 offset. Or wheels spacers but I wouldn't put spaces on. You'll also have to take the front mud flaps off.
Bilstein 5100's and an AAL is a good way to get there for cheaper. Otherwise a kit from old man emu and if your wanting to spend money I'd go with the OME BP-51 or a King OEM performance kit
No. 2.5-3" lift and the right offset you'll be good.Awesome thanks for the info guys.
Would I still have to do any type of cutting or trimming with appropriate offset wheels?
Welcome to the forum. Post some pictures.Pretty damn new to all of this but I was wondering if there's anyway to install the 285/75/16 KO2's on a 2017 sr5 without the tires rubbing. What's the minimum lift I would need? Is it even possible?
A good set of spacers are going to cost you a couple hundred dollars and a set of wheels will cost a few hundred more than that. I wouldn't waste your money on wheel spacers. Save it and buy the wheels you want.Thanks. I think I'm going to do the spacers at the moment until I can save up for some wheels.
Yeah you could fit them with that set up.I'm also planning on getting some 0 offset wheels. Just wondering if the option would be available later on.
Awesome!! Well, here goes nothing. Haha purchasing the wheels and tires right now. So hopefully everything will be setup within the next two weeks. Pics to follow
